Château Bas d’Aumelas
Château Bas d’Aumelas is a 14th-century estate just 20 minutes from Montpellier. It has been in the d’Albenas family for 200 years, passed down through successive generations. In 2002, Jean-Philippe and Geoffroy d’Albenas began bringing the estate back to life, replanting vineyards that had long since been uprooted and gradually restoring the château to its former splendour.
Today, Château Bas d’Aumelas produces organic wines from an exceptional high-altitude terroir and offers a timeless setting for weddings and private events.

Tasting notes: The result is a highly expressive wine, intense in colour with violet highlights. The nose is complex, concentrated and rich, revealing spicy and balsamic notes. The palate opens broadly and harmoniously, framed by exceptionally fine tannins.
Food pairings: Red meat, game and roast beef.

Tasting notes: The result is a distinctive wine with a brilliant plum-coloured hue. The nose is complex, concentrated and rich, revealing notes of ripe fruit, pepper and liquorice. The palate opens broadly and harmoniously, framed by exceptionally fine tannins.
Food pairings: Duck breast, lamb shoulder, flank steak with shallots.
