Alcohol content: 14%
Grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre

Tasting notes: If there were just one wine… this would be it! L’Engarran’s signature cuvée.
Deep, brilliant purple in colour. The nose reveals black and red fruit, sweet spices, a hint of chocolate and cinnamon. The palate is smooth and balanced, unfolding with a velvety touch: cherry mellowed by the sweetness of prune, followed by ripe raspberry, Gariguette strawberry and blackcurrant jam.
Beyond the fruit, the texture comes into its own: luscious and mouth-filling, with an enveloping, velvety structure. A hint of menthol lifts the subtle sweetness with a refreshing touch. A radiant wine, glowing from within with sumptuous charm and effortless elegance. Serve between 16 and 18°C. Ageing potential: 8–10 years.
Food pairings: Serve in a generously sized wine glass to allow its aromas to unfold. Elegant and versatile, this wine is equally at home at family gatherings, business lunches or relaxed meals with friends. Refined and distinguished, it has a naturally convivial spirit.
Pair it with Mediterranean dishes such as lasagne and risotto, spiced vegetarian dishes, grilled red meats, sweet and savoury world cuisine, or French classics such as pot-au-feu, hachis Parmentier, lamb sauté and beef fillet in pastry. It will carry you effortlessly from one course to the next, through the cheese course and all the way to chocolate cake.
