Clos Sorian
Located in Saussan, between Montpellier and the Thau Lagoon, Clos Sorian grows grape varieties including Syrah, Grenache and Merlot across 10 hectares of vineyards. The diversity of its terroirs and landscapes allows the estate to produce wines in a range of styles.
With its Petit Caveau wine shop north of Montpellier, Clos Sorian places close relationships at the heart of its approach. Its presence in independent wine shops and restaurants, alongside its participation in numerous wine fairs and events, reflects this commitment.

Soil: Clay-limestone soils over stony gravel.
Tasting notes: Deep garnet with Morello cherry highlights, clear and bright, with good colour concentration and numerous fine legs. The nose is intense, complex and elegant, revealing freshly ground pepper, cocoa powder and roasted notes, followed by red stone fruit, crème de cassis, liquorice and balsamic nuances.
The palate is broad and inviting, with a clean attack and vibrant, mouthwatering flavours of juicy black fruit. A long finish reveals Mediterranean character and woody notes. Exceptional freshness gives this wine excellent ageing potential. Serve between 16 and 18°C.
Food pairings: This wine pairs beautifully with young wild boar stew or morel mushroom risotto.
