Domaine de la Perrière
Domaine de la Perrière lies between the garrigue scrublands north of Montpellier and the first foothills of the Cévennes, near Pic Saint-Loup. These hills shelter the vineyards from the Mistral and Tramontane winds, creating a hot, dry Mediterranean climate particularly well suited to winegrowing.

Soil: Clay-limestone soils and rounded pebbles.
Tasting notes: A powerful red wine of character with a long finish. Enjoyable young, it also deserves 8–10 years in the cellar. Its lovely purple colour is complemented by a rich, intense nose of red fruit and blackcurrant, interwoven with vanilla and spice.
On the palate, a clean attack gives way to a dense, broad and rounded texture. The tannins are well integrated, silky and pleasing. The finish is elegant, long and powerful.
Food pairings: Perfect with red meat, game or Mediterranean cuisine.

Tasting notes: This powerful red wine of character reaches maturity in its third year and offers a long finish. Purple in colour, it reveals a rich, intense nose of oak, toast and roasted notes against a backdrop of ripe fruit.
The palate opens with a fleshy, dense and full texture. Richness and polished tannins lead into the fruit. The tannins are well integrated, silky and pleasing. The finish is elegant, long and powerful.
