Domaine de Roquemale
Domaine de Roquemale was founded in September 2001 by Valérie Tabaries-Ibanez and her husband Dominique. Both from traditional winegrowing backgrounds, they decided to return to their roots and build an estate from scratch, purchasing 10 hectares of vineyards in the small village of Villeveyrac.
Roquemale means “poor rock” in the local dialect—a blessing for vines, which thrive on these low-yielding soils, producing grapes with excellent concentration.

Tasting notes: Very deep in colour, with a complex nose and well-integrated oak. Dense and fresh on the palate, with a refined finish.
Food pairings: Game terrine, beef en croûte, roast duck breast.

Food pairings: Braised bone-in rib of beef, navarin of lamb, sausage baked in brioche, lamb chops.
