Set in the hills west of Montpellier, surrounded by rich and diverse natural landscapes, Domaine de Saumarez has been producing organic wines for 20 years. The estate was founded in 2004 with the aim of crafting high-quality red, white and rosé wines.

Soil: Jurassic clay-limestone soils — Aalenian.
Tasting notes: Deep red in colour. The nose is complex, with notes of liquorice, smoke, rich black fruit and black pepper. The palate is full, revealing prune, black pepper, thyme and leather, all supported by good acidity and firm tannins.
Food pairings: From a starter of tomatoes stuffed with fresh goat’s cheese to beef ribs with confit shallots or Bleu des Causses cheese.
