Villa Exindrio
Sheltered by Mont Saint-Bauzille and bordered by Mediterranean lagoons, Villa Exindrio was established more than 2,000 years ago as a Gallo-Roman farm. The kings of France later acquired and developed the estate before returning it to the bishops of Maguelone.
From the 12th century onwards, these bishops recognised the potential of this garrigue terroir. Their cathedral, almost entirely surrounded by water, stands just a flamingo’s wingbeat away.
Today, Clément and Mathilde Veyrac carry on Villa Exindrio’s agricultural tradition.

Soil: Clay-limestone soils.
Tasting notes: Garnet red with ruby highlights. An expressive nose reveals ripe red and black fruit, including Morello cherry and blackcurrant. The palate shows lovely depth and texture, framed by fine, elegant tannins. Fruit flavours take centre stage before giving way to a long, elegant, spicy finish.
Food pairings: Roast meats, leg of lamb and mature cheeses.
